Culture

What’s your role at ConnectiveRx?

I’m Senior Director, Patient Affordability Services. I manage the daily operation of our Patient Affordability Center at ConnectiveRx. We provide services that help patients afford their specialty medication and ensure our customers’ programs are managed efficiently. Our Centers process patient claims, and field general questions with regards to copays and enrollments into affordability programs. We are a customer-centric organization in that we believe all customers should receive white-glove service. I believe that philosophy starts with me and how I interact with my team and customers. I have to walk the walk to talk the talk as a leader!

What led you to pursue this career?

I’ve always demonstrated a passion for growth and development. Being a manager is a great way to not only evolve and grow as an individual; it’s a great way to collaborate with others and witness their development. I’m a people person and working in a leadership role affords me a lot of opportunities to collaborate. I have been fortunate to have had a variety of roles in various industries and strongly believe healthcare is where I am meant to be.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Helping others is very rewarding. I’m passionate about developing people and enjoy challenging myself to come up with innovative ways to help people grow. As a leader, you have to be creative to accommodate others’ needs as they work to discover their true potential. Providing quality customer service is also rewarding. It’s about identifying a need, empathizing with the customer, and coming up with solutions to meet the need. My customers can be internal (team, co-workers, and business partners) and external (customers/vendors, healthcare providers, and patients). They all deserve 100%.

Which ConnectiveRx value resonates with you the most?

I see myself in all the values and strive to exemplify each value daily. If I were to choose one, I would say Compassionate: I like to think that I lead with compassion both internally and externally. Compassion is what makes you engaging, trustworthy and makes those around you value what you have to say.

What are you most passionate about?

I would have to say, my family. My family is extremely important to me as I am to them. I am proud of what we have accomplished and continue to be amazed as I see my children grow and develop.
