2021: A Year in Review

Hub Services

It’s impossible to summarize 2021 in just a few simple words. It was a year that saw and embraced change. It was a year of growth. It was a year that allowed us to feel nostalgic for the old ways, find new appreciation for the present, and look forward to an exciting future.

A slower pace of everyday life allowed us to step back and really appreciate those who make it possible for us to do what we do every day. It gave us the opportunity as a company to really spread our wings and share our expertise with the world. We find ourselves almost surprised to realize that, despite the turmoil around us, this was a great year. Here’s why:

Hybrid conferences: The new normal?

The ConnectiveRx team got to experience a few days of normalcy as two in-person conferences were held for the first time in about 18 months. HIMSS21 was back in Las Vegas in August, and CBI’s Coupon and Copay took place along the Philadelphia waterfront in October.

As always, HIMSS delivered on its promise to share the latest in healthcare information technology insights and ways to use this to support patients. A common theme centered around innovative ways to make personalized healthcare more available to patients in their homes. When the humanity of patients is at the forefront of the commercialization of products and services, everyone wins. Here is our recap of the hybrid event.

As the premier thought leader of CBI’s Coupon and Copay, we really got to spread our wings and share expertise with other industry leaders. Challenges around patient savings programming doesn’t stop even during a global pandemic, and those in attendance were determined to find solutions to support clients and patients alike. A variety of topics came up, as you can see here.

Focusing on the patient: A webinar series

For the first time in our history, ConnectiveRx hosted a webinar series throughout the year: Transforming the Patient Support Experience. Each webinar focused on a specific area that pharma brands can utilize to better support chronic patients. Our own subject matter experts, plus a few guest stars, engaged our audiences with deep industry expertise and innovative technology.

A Big Year for EHR Network Expansion

One of the most exciting opportunities we have seized upon this year has been the growth of our EHR network. Our exclusive partnerships with Allscripts and athenaHealth means we have the largest in-EHR network available, allowing us to reach more than 130M patients with branded messaging and patient savings information. Our in-workflow patient saving offers are available through the EHR portals in ambulatory and hospital settings, not just in the providers' offices.

We also recently acquired Rx Savings Assistant® from Medicom Digital. Top tier health systems and hospitals across the US, including those that are integrated with Epic EHR systems, rely on Rx Savings Assistant, and now ConnectiveRx, for patient support. With these partnerships and acquisition, our patient savings messaging can reach 720,000 healthcare providers and their patients in physician offices, ambulatory health clinics, and hospital systems across the country.

Putting Teammates in the Spotlight

The truth is, we could never accomplish all that we do without our incredible Teammates. That’s why as a company, ConnectiveRx works hard to show appreciation for the individuals who make it possible to get patients on therapy faster. One way is through our ongoing Connected Together series; a collection of monthly blog posts that let’s all of us learn about the things that matter most to our Teammates.

But it's not just us who recognizes the talents of our Teammates. Check out the two features below:
